  1. Test Mode Tools

Set Test Funds to a specific amount

Apart from adding or taking virtual money from your Test Funds account, you can now set it to an exact amount.

Test bets can now be saved before you close the program

You can choose to keep your test bets between trading session. That means they will be loaded when you next start the program, just as if they were stored on BetFair.

You can now test your staking plans in Test Mode

We have added a whole bunch of tools and settings that let the program settle markets in Test Mode. This means MF Pro can now calculate the profits and losses from the bets you placed in Test Mode, and add or deduct funds from your Test Funds account.

With the new functionality you can test all your staking plans easily without risking a penny!

You yourself can now determine a winner, just to test your bets:

  2. Test Account Statement

As test bets can now be settled, we are glad to introduce you to a new tool called "Test Account Statement". It keeps record of all test bets you've placed in the application and their outcome (won/lost), as well as the amount that was debited or credited as a result of each bet.

The test account statement will be kept in text files on your computer, so you can choose the starting date of the account or clear it any time you want.

  3. Market Screen and Market Types

Total Goals and Asian Handicap markets

You can now bet in Total Goals and Asian Handicap markets, your bets will be accepted just like in Odds markets.

To see all three possible outcome for an Asian Handicap bet, switch the market to the "Full Mode".

Adding / deleting new types of markets automatically

You can now add multiple markets using an extended and more convenient menu under the Event Tree:

Matched and unmatched bets displayed separately

For your convenience we grouped matched and unmatched bets in separate panels which you can fold and unfold when needed.

Changing start time of a market

You can change the start time of the market yourself (for example, if you have the knowledge that the event is delayed). Just click on the market's start time label and enter your own date and time.

  4. Betting Functions

Back at lay price and lay at back price

You can use the one-click betting buttons to place back bets at the current best lay price, and lay bets at the current best back price. To do so just hold the "Shift" key on your keyboard while left-clicking on one of the buttons. You also need to enable "One-Click Betting" option in "Betting Options".

Minimum bet size corrected

The minimum bet sizes in AUD and EUR currencies have been adjusted according to the latest BetFair currency guide.

Account statement can be downloaded for a fixed number of days

You can now choose whether to keep account statement records that start from a certain date (like it used to be), or that are no older than a certain number of days. For example, you can tell the program keep the account statement (and thus calculate all Win/Lose History variables) for the last 7 days only.

Also, you can define the maximum number of records that MF Pro can download from your account statement.

Check "Betting Options".

  5. Monitoring Options

For more convenient access to monitoring options we gathered them in a separate tab.

Reloading event categories on node expansion

Now you can choose to refresh the list of categories and markets each time you expand a node in the Event Tree. For example, whenever you open the "Horse Racing - Todays Card" category, the program can get the list of fresh events from BetFair. This is useful if you trade all day and don't want to restart the program for opening the next day's events.

Synchronising local date and time with BetFair's

You can adjust your local time to BetFair's to make sure you are in the same time zone as BetFair and you won't miss the start of each event.

Requesting data from BetFair in zipped format

This option allows you to choose whether you want to put an extra load on your CPU and save traffic, or on the contrary, spend more traffic and save CPU resources. Check more details in help file.

  6. Triggered Betting

The biggest work has been done in this section. You will find new actions, conditions and trigger variables that will definitely help you save a lot of efforts and time. Don't forget to check the help file for all the new functions.

User Variables

User variables are special keywords that you as the user can set during your trading session. They are designed to expand the functionality and range of trigger conditions available to check. For example, at some point in the race or match you can "remember" some parameter by writing it to your variable and later using this variable in your triggers. You can create any number of your own variables and assign them to anything you want - to a number, a string or an arithmetic expression containing other trigger and user variables, functions etc.

View Variables

You are given a wonderful facility to control the values of trigger expressions, as well as trigger and user variables you may be using in your triggers.

In a special window you can list the variables or trigger expressions that you want to evaluate, and the program will display their values as it will be refreshing the channels.

To open the "View Variables" window click on the button in the top-right corner of the application.

You can view variables that are related to the whole application or to a specific market. You can also set the value of the variable whose name you'll type in there.

This tool will really save you a lot of time and you won't have to look into the trigger log files if your trigger is not working because of a variable.

Remembering selections and their parameters

Unlike just remembering the list of selections at some point of your betting session, you can now access the properties of those selections as well. This means the program makes a "slip" of these selections the moment a "remember" trigger is executed. As the market goes on and prices, amounts etc. keep changing, the properties of the selections you remembered do not change over time.

MF Pro can remember a set of selections under a specific name which you can bind to certain strategies or markets. Using "Remembered Selection Variables" you can address those selections in a suitable manner. The name under which selections are remembered is specified in the trigger.

New actions

New  trigger conditions

Selection's ...

Market's ...

User variable(s) are set / not set

New trigger variables

All trigger variables have been organised in a tree of variables which you can see if you open the Formula Builder.

Now you just need to navigate to the necessary variable and click on it to add it to your formula.

The variables that have been added are:

Win/Lose History variables

Market Variables

Selection Variables

Remembered Selections Variables

You can remember a set of selections under a common name using a trigger with the "remember" action. These selections can then be addressed by this name and their index, using different syntax. Check help file for more details.

Protecting trigger files

You can now not only protect a trigger file and bind it to a specific computer, but also define when the trigger file is going to expire and stop working. This is particularly convenient for services offering a subscription to a trigger.

Clearing trigger logs automatically

The program can now automatically delete old trigger log files that you no longer need. For example it can delete all files that are older than 1 day. Check "Trigger Options".

  7. Connection to Excel

Placing bets from Excel spreadsheet

Since Asian Handicap markets are now supported, an additional parameter was added to Excel procedures for placing bets. Check help file for more details.

List of current bets in Excel

The program can now display all your current bets placed on BetFair in a separate Excel sheet called "bets". All you need to do is activate this option from "Excel Options" tab.

And this is how bets are listed in the sheet (read more details in the help file):

  8. Miscellaneous Functions

Play sounds on different events

The program can play three different sounds upon certain events. The three types of events are:
- The loss of money, when bets from a certain market get settled and the result is negative
- New profit, when bets from a certain market get settled and the result is positive
- All other events, such as trigger alerts or confirmations.

By default the sounds come together with the program, but you can choose sounds from your own library of files.

Check "General Options".

Hide your MF Pro in system tray

You can now minimise MF Pro to system tray where only a small icon will be visible. You can also make the program ask for password when trying to restore it from the tray.

Check "Look & Feel Options":

Tabular format of Action Log File

You can make the Action Log File (the file where all your bets and other operations are recorded) be easier to export to other programs, for example to Excel. Instead of usual extended sentences, you can choose it to be saved as tabular data, separated by semicolons.

Check "Look & Feel Options":

Action Log in a separate window

If you don't want the action log to cover the bottom part of the screen, you can open it in a separate window. To do this click on the blue arrow button in the right-top corner of the action log panel.

Gmail and other secure email accounts are now supported

You can now configure MF Pro to send email to Gmail account and other mail accounts that require SSL authorisation.

Faster access to data

We improved the way MF Pro communicates with BetFair through the Internet, so the access to markets has become faster and more reliable.
