Old Trigger Examples
We plan to fill this section of the web site with trigger examples that customers of MarketFeeder Pro and visitors will suggest. If you want to trade according to some rule and don't know how to set up a trigger for that, please email us and get a free advice.
Note that if you have a localised version of MS Excel (other than English) you must translate all Excel commands and functions into your native language.
We offer a new service - free trigger ini file which now can be imported into your own copy of MarketFeeder Pro. Here are the simplest instructions how to use these files:
- Download the file and save it in the directory where you have installed MarketFeeder Pro. It will replace the original triggers.ini file. Attention! If you have already constructed your own triggers they will be lost, so make a back up of your original triggers.ini file!
- Launch MarketFeeder Pro and after the trigger shows itself in the trigger table, change its "Active" state from "no" to the option specified for this trigger. Click "Save Changes" - the trigger will start working.
- If you want to restore your old triggers, rename your back-up file back to "triggers.ini" and restart the application.
Trigger Files List
| Trigger | Description | "Active" column | Download |
| 1. Winner Betting | Backs on a winner in-play if it's priced less than 1.3 and the next runner is priced 5.0 or higher. | once in-play & wait | English - German - French - Italian - Spanish - Finnish - Russian |
| 2. Laying the Favourite | Lays the favourite 1 min before the off, then during in-play, if the price of the selection dropped below 1.3, backs on it to cover the losses. There are two triggers in this package, the first containing a fake condition that will always work. You must set up "Allow triggering/offset no sooner than ... min. before the event's start" option to "1" - that's in "Trigger Options". Also set "Maximum attempts on failure" to "-1". | Trigger 1 - once & wait Trigger 2 - once in-play & wait |
